Day Seven

Day Seven's reason to be happy: happy moments with baby!

Elias has been really sleepy and cranky lately. I'm thinking he might be going through a growth spurt. It's definitely tiring cause all he seems to do is cry the past couple days. It's all worth it though when he smiles :) He's just too stinking adorable!

Day Six

Day Six's reason to be happy: making brownies with the boys.

Day Five

Day Five's reason to be happy: lazy snuggly days avoiding the cold outside.

I was pretty tired from all the festivities yesterday. It was also really cold today, colder then it's been in a long while. So after chores where done today I took a shower and changed into some warm pj's. And for the first time in a really long time we just lounged around the house all day. Most of my day was spent under my alice blanket watching power puff girls. It's been a really long time since I've been calm enough to have a lazy day, normally I get too anxious if I have nothing to do. It sounds like it's starting to rain now too, which will be great for when I go to sleep. I love listening to rain while falling asleep. All in all a really good day.

Day Four

Day Four's reason to be happy: my niece.


I love my niece very much. It was her sixth birthday party yesterday. I can't believe how quickly she is growing!

Day Three

Day Three's reason to be happy: a night relaxing with my husband.

My niece's birthday party is tomorrow. The kids love having sleep over's so my sister invited my oldest son to sleep over as a surprise for my niece. Elias was tired after a long day so he feel asleep almost as soon as we got home. So my husband and I watched Destination Truth and ate dinner together all by ourselves. I love my husband and spending time with him, especially when we get rare moments alone. Yeah it wasn't a fancy candlelit dinner but truthfully I think it's just as good!

Day One

Day 1's reason to be happy: a trip to the beach.

Things where so crazy this summer I never got to visit the beach. Today was pretty warm so we decided to squeeze in a visit before it got too cold. It was amazing, we played in the water, built sandcastles and searched for seashells. All of which I haven't done in ages. A lot of it reminded me of growing up in Virginia, which was nice. And it's nice to see my kids love the ocean as much as I do :)
